Your First Visit – What to Expect

At Torvale Medica, we understand that a hospital visit can be overwhelming — especially if it’s your first. Our dedicated team ensures your experience is smooth, comforting, and well-coordinated.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Arrival & Check-In:
  Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Visit our Reception Desk with your appointment ID or reference number.

• Bring Along:

  • Valid photo ID

  • Referral letter (if any)

  • Previous medical reports or imaging

  • Health insurance documents (if applicable)

• 🧾 Registration Process:
  New patients will be asked to fill out a short health history form. You can also download and fill this in advance via [Download Patient Form PDF].

• Meet Your Doctor:
  You’ll be guided to the appropriate department by our staff. Consultations typically last 20–30 minutes depending on the complexity of care.

• Post-Consultation:
  Based on your diagnosis, your doctor may recommend diagnostic tests, further appointments, or treatment plans. Everything will be clearly explained, and our team will help with follow-ups or billing queries.

Billing & Insurance Information

At Torvale Medica, we strive to make your billing process transparent and hassle-free. Whether you're a private patient or insured under a healthcare plan, our administrative team is here to guide you through every step.

Billing Process Overview:

• Patients are informed of consultation and procedure charges in advance.

• Payment is accepted via credit/debit card, online transfer, and cash.

• A detailed invoice is provided after every consultation or treatment.

Accepted Insurance Plans:

We work with a wide range of Irish and international insurance providers, including:

• Vhi Healthcare

• Irish Life Health

• Laya Healthcare

• HSF Health Plan

• Other private insurers (contact our desk for full list)

Please check with your insurance provider for pre-approval if needed.

Claims & Reimbursements:

• Our billing department helps in generating all necessary documentation for claim submission.

• Direct billing options are available with select insurers (T&Cs apply).

• You can also request e-bills to be sent via email.
